Yes. You can limit which events appear with category and tag filters (include or exclude specific terms). If you add more than one filter, choose whether events must match all of them (AND) or any of them (OR).
On the front end, the calendar toolbar can show optional controls for visitors: search, venue, category, tag, upcoming/past/all, sort order, and display (month, grid, or list). You can also set defaults for the timeline (upcoming, past, or all) and sort order.
