One of the most powerful features of the Event Genius plugin is its event registration feature. By default, registrations are enabled for your events. This means that a “Register” button is displayed on the event details page on your site which users can use to enter their details and attend the event, as shown below:

Customizing the Registration Form Fields
To edit the registration form that users fill out, just follow these simple steps:
1. Go to Events > Registrations in the WordPress admin menu.

6. Once you’re done creating the field, click “Save” at the bottom of the field.

7. To add the field to your form, click the “>” arrow to move it from your fields list into your form.

8. Once the field is in your form, you can drag and drop it anywhere in the form to change its order.

9. To access the field options, hover over a field and click the gear icon in the top right.

Customizing the Form Emails and Messages
There are multiple emails that are associated with event registrations. Settings for these can be found under the “Emails” tab at the top of the Registrations page.

Here you can select to enable or disable certain emails, edit the content, and use placeholder tags to include dynamic information in your emails.
Below are an outline of each email type and what it’s used for:

This is sent to an attendee to confirm their registration after they register for an event.
Notification Email
This is sent to you (the site owner) when an attendee registers for an event. You can specify which email address any notifications are sent to by using the setting at the top of the page.
Cancel Request Email
