Allowing Attendees to Register Multiples Guests for Events

The Event Genius Pro plugin allows your users to register multiple guests for an event during the registration process. This feature is enabled or disabled individually for each registration form that you create. To enable multiple guest registration for a form, follow the directions below:

1. Go to Events > Registrations > Forms.

2. Select the form you’d like to enable it for, or create a new one.

3. Click on the “Settings” menu option inside the form.

4. Scroll down to the “Additional Guests” section at the bottom of the page. The “Guest Registration Type” setting allows you to decide how you’d like this feature to be used during the registration process. Each option is described in more detail below.

None

This disables the feature so that only one guest can be registered at a time.

Simple Count

This option allows users to specify a count of how many additional guests will be attending without providing any individual details for these guests.

You can define the minimum and maximum number of guests allowed per registration.

This will be shown as a basic counter during the registration process as shown below.

Additional Guests

This option allows users to add individual additional guests during registration with full details for each (eg. name, contact details, etc). This is displayed with an “Add Guest” button during the registration process, with a tab above the registration form for each guest, as shown below:

Below are the available configuration settings for this option:

Confirmation Email Recipients
Choose whether both the main registrant and all additional guests receive confirmation emails or just the main registrant only.

Notification Email Recipients
Choose whether both the main registrant and all additional guests receive notification emails or just the main registrant only.

Guest Identity Label
How the additional guests are labeled during the registration process. Examples: “Guest {number}”, “Additional Guest {number}”, “Attendee {number}”. The {number} placeholder will be replaced with the actual guest number.

Add Guest Button Label
The label for the button used to add additional guests during the registration process. Examples: “Add Guest”, “Add Attendee”, “Add Person”, “Add Another Guest”.

Additional Guest Summary Placeholder
The text used when displaying a summary of the guests attending. Placeholder tags are available to use here.
